A renovation and second-story addition that keeps the original concrete-block walls of an existing East Austin house exposed as the project's primary material — and adds a cedar-clad upper volume above.

An Austin renovation that keeps the existing mid-century ranch reading as a neighbor at the street and adds a faceted grey-clad photo studio to the rear — featured on ArchDaily and recipient of the 2019 AIA Austin Design Award.
