Set within the historic fabric of Galveston, Church Street Condos is an adaptive reuse project that transforms an existing structure into a mixed-use property with offices on the ground floor and new residential levels above. The original building is preserved and reinforced, while a lightweight structure above introduces contemporary condo living with views, light, and generous outdoor space.

The units are organized around open floor plans and deep balconies that embrace coastal life. A central access corridor is treated as a communal courtyard—planted, sunlit, and articulated to create moments of gathering and privacy. Above it all, a rooftop deck offers a shared plunge pool, grilling area, and an indoor kitchen and lounge designed for everyday use and occasional events. Pergolas define shade and scale, giving form to the open sky and reinforcing a sense of place throughout the building.
